But, setting aside the LONG list of WRers who struggled with drops early, what makes you think NFL front office people who work 100 hour weeks scouting and watching every player on every other team is NOT going to know something that you do?

Yeah...of course. You're not sneaking that past the rest of the NFL and...like we've seen in the past, a LOT of young WRers struggle with drops early. 

There's no point in trading him now, you're not tricking anyone and plenty of teams would line up to give us terrible value for him. I'd rather just hope he develops like so many other guys have.

I agree. Especially as we are looking at a rebuild in my opinion.

I think where we're at with Watson is ... he was probably not the best WR available for a team that was hoping to contend and needed immediate help at the WR position. 

He's definitely worth a 2nd round pick, as the dude has freak athleticism and ridiculous speed, and is worth the time and effort as a "project" pick, but for a team that wanted to contend this year, and needed help *right now*, he might not have been the guy (as he scores again, lol).

But here we are. He's our guy now. Let's hope he develops and can turn into a 60/900/8 guy and he isn't another Robert Ferguson or the like.
