Fresh on The Capital Times' website (7/29)...

Todd Finkelmeyer's July 29 "Hit And Run" column in The Capital Times is almost entirely about the Brewers, including a bf.net mention and a quoted post from RobertR.

Here's the part with the site mention. (The link, copied below, was posted to their website while I was composing this message.) Yes, the website name is spelled two different ways:

Quote:
Speaking of Lee, the general consensus among Brewers fans is that Milwaukee general manager Doug Melvin should be tarred and feathered for sending Lee and top prospect Nelson Cruz to the Rangers for outfielders Kevin Mench and Laynce Nix, reliever Francisco Cordero and minor league lefty Julian Cordero.

However, a person writing on the fan message board at www.brewersfan.net [sic] may have summed it up best. Wrote BrewerFan.Net poster RobertR:

"I think the strong reactions to this trade are because it appears kind of wishy-washy. This deal, if Cordero takes over as closer and is effective, arguably makes the Brewers a better team this year. However, it doesn't appear to have much for long-term improvement. Essentially, the Brewers are being neither 'buyers' nor 'sellers', but simply rearranging their talent level."

And check out Todd's bobblehead jinx theory as well:

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
