Has anything been announced about Brewers On Deck?

Crazy they would consider canceling it forever. It was always a massive hit and really drummed up a lot of excitement for the team regardless of how good we were going to be. Definitely help people feel connected to the team going into spring. Seems like an essential thing for the Brewers to be doing.

I have never even gone, but always got excited for the new faces and all the clips that go along with it.  Always got me a little pumped even in like 2015/2016 when the team was assured to suck.

I've seen some conversation about how they might use the Covid downtime to cancel the winter event indefinitely but has anyone heard anything definitive about it? I'm not coming up with anything in searches.

I am guessing it is cost that is the reason they are canceling it.  Usually it is held at the Wisconsin Center but that should be on their calendar already if there were going to be one by now.

I am fairly confident there won't be one again.

Thanks. That's the vibe I was getting as well. Why don't they host it at AmFam? If the Twins can figure out how to do TwinsFest in the open air Target Field, creating a tolerable environment inside of American Family Field shouldn't be impossible.

It is easier to get to the Wisconsin Center plus there is more to do around that area along with it being bigger, indoors and built specifically for events like this.

I believe the Brewers prefer having at the Wisconsin Center as it is easier to funnel people in and out of the event.  Also you don't have to worry about weather.  AmFam on the inside is a horrible design and doesn't give you all that much room to do something like this.

I believe one of the reasons they want to renovate and improve some of the parking areas is for something like the On Deck event.
