Packers trade for Jerry Jeudy and Melvin Gordon...

UpandIn

Reports per Ian Rappaport are that the Packers are trading a 1st round pick+ for Jerry Jeudy and Melvin Gordon.

1st-Jeudy is cheap and the 15th overall pick and lines up perfectly with what would appear to be Rodgers final years in Green Bay.

2nd-Melvin Gordon would seem to be a sign that Kylin Hill is not ready to come back.

3rd-I really love Jeudy as a WRer and what this does for the Packers...I really HATE trading a 1st round pick.

Now, get Christian Watson back, keep Jenkins and Bakh healthy and this team could DEFINITELY go on a run...

I LOVE this trade, I love Jeudy...I'm gonna hate this trade on a Thursday in April, but...hey, this team is too talented to not go for it. I'd like a shake up from the defensive side of the ball, but we know the talent is there.

Jerry Jeudy has base salaries of ~2M this year and next before the 5th year option(which they'll need to figure out after next year I believe).

Just now, patrickgpe said:

yeah, packers have no use for Gordon and the account name should tip that its fake news.

The guys name DID say Ian Rappaport...it just clearly didn't have the blue check.

Also...not for nothing, but we could definitely use Gordon IF Kylin Hill isn't healthy. The two combined cost ~3.5M the rest of the year...so it made sense.

Go ahead and delete the thread.
