We just might be the 3rd best team in our division. No way do we contain an explosive Detroit offense and we sure as heck can't win a shootout against them.

The fact that I even have to entertain the thought that next week’s home date against the Jets is a potential “must-win” scenario is nauseating to me.  I mean, it isn’t, but the fact I have to give it more than a few seconds of thought is just gross.

But if the Packers want any shot at home field, losing next week is tough to swallow.

The Packers should be brave like the Badgers … it’s time to fire Joe Barry … he was a bad hire to start with … can him today & redeem the season … too much talent on defense to play this poorly … make the change as soon as you land back in Green Bay

We had some really great intriguing and innovative candidates, it was an attractive position and massively important hire, and MLF went with the most boring, vanilla retread that he could possibly find.

Hard to believe but the best part of the team today might have been the special teams and that's because they didn't have any egregious mistakes although they didn't do much.

You have a point, but Amari Rodgers had yet another almost lost fumble.  He’s still going to torpedo a game at some point, it’s coming.

Any shot at home field. ???

I don't care about home field, we are a finesse team that isn't built for the cold anyway. But let's not wait for the offseason to fix problems again. Let Whitt run the D, he can't be any worse.

Edit: Forgot Whitt is in Dallas now

Second Edit: I was thinking of Gray

Amari is just about useless and this WR group needs playmakers. 4 career receptions and really not that impressive in the return game. His spot on the team is likely rock solid but if the Packers are in the mix to sign OBJ I'd be more than ok cutting ties with Rodgers.

The thing that disturbs me the most isn’t even the defense.  It has been twelve years of this crap, and plenty of scar tissue on those wounds.

But this team going where it needs to go absolutely, 100% depends on learning the most important lesson of the second-half of Rodgers’ tenure:  when the games matter most, late in the year, in difficult conditions, throwing 35-40 times is going to get you beat, even with Rodgers.  Jones and Dillon are either going to be equal partners to Rodgers in this system, or they’re going home early again.  I thought the team had finally figured this out, but early returns are not encouraging.

Two things are near certain with this current iteration of the Packers:

1) If the team gives up a score or gets punched in the mouth, they will near assuredly witness A-Rod go for three straight shots and punt. It is almost certain they will not stay the course (not that using their best weapon in Aaron Jones is even in their game-plan) and carve out an effective blend of plays to help their defense…

2) To that end, if the opposing team faces 2nd and long (which seems to be quite often) Joe Joe Barry will near certainly drop his CB’s a good 10-15 yards off the line of scrimmage and concede some type of chunk play.

No serious contending team would employ Barry as a D Coordinator calling these vanilla off man (let alone the ‘game-plan’ versus the Vikings in week 1) coverages. No serious contending team would trot Amari Rogers out for the sole reason of returning punts. You need to have a baseline of confidence your returner is, in the very least, a sure sets of hands to guarantee possession.

The previously empty 3-1 record could not hide what is clear in plain sight: this team is a mess. They really are an utter mess. They have many many a thing to straighten out and rectify - personally, I don’t think they have the prowess or intrepid sense of direction to rectify in the expedited manner that needs rectifying. I mean, you can’t travel back in time and suddenly realize Joe Barry (a) shouldn’t be in the interview process and (b) now that he snuck in certainly shouldn’t be in the list of serious candidates. You can’t help a coaching and personnel department that changes out heir starting O-Line of an entire second half of a season the week of a Home Playoff game. You can’t help said peeps who continue to cling to the Amari Rogers storyline as if it bares an ounce of fruit. Now that we’re seeing Hackett’s results in Denver and Getsy’s results in Chicago, is it really a stretch to question Stenavich’s prowess and ability to lead this offense where it needs to go to (O-Line coaching capabilities aside)?

Lotta problems in GB. Lotta weeks left. I have extremely little faith. This honestly feels like an extension of the Brewers season.

Randall freaking Cobb cannot be targeted 13 times in the passing game when the rookie WRs get a total of 6 targets.  Jones target 3 times.

Much of the passing game problems look alot like 2019 Rodgers forcing throws into coverage to guys he "trusts" and not getting the ball to receivers who are actually getting open

They got away from running the ball in the second half.  The backs were almost non-existent.  I know Rodgers is given liberty to make almost every play an RPO.  Whether that was coaching or Rodgers, it equals an L.

They were just talking about this on the radio, it was only that 3 and out that followed the Giants tying score when they really got away from the run and they had single coverage on their vet WR's on all 3 throws. I thought Cobb should have had the one to him and Lazard should have adjusted better on the last one. Other than that drive we were still running it and the batted balls at the end maybe stopped TD throws. I am way more upset about the D than the O in this one.

I don't think anyone will ever accuse the Packers of being well coached.

If there was a Hall of Fame for Head Coaches that couldn't make an in-game adjustment to save their lives, MLF would be the first inductee and it would be named after him. This isn't rocket science.  There's 2 halves.  The other team is going to make adjustments at halftime.  You should TOO!

At least when Rodgers finally retires and MLF is exposed as an OC (at best) hopefully they don't wait long to fire his ass. Maybe by that time the ******* Murphy will be gone so he won't have a role in hiring the replacement.

I'm watching the Cowboys commit to the run in the 2nd half and watching them about to go to 4-1 and beat the defending champs with Cooper Rush and I realized that Mike McCarthy is doing a much better coaching job than Matt Lafleur this year. What a depressing thought.

How embarrassing would it be if MM and the Cowboys come into Lambeau next month and beat us?
