Out of this trash, who is my best bye-week pickup at QB?

PJ Walker
Dalton
Ehlinger
Heinicke
Mills

Mills and Heinicke are the only guys not at risk of being pulled if they suck. I feel Walker probably has the highest ceiling of this group but really picking a name out of a hat is probably just as logical as putting actual thought into it.

I picked up Dalton because of his matchup against the Raiders. Who knows how solid his grasp on the starting QB job is though.

I went with Dalton too. With Kelce on a bye and losing JaMarr I'm pretty much punting this week anyway.

Dalton was the highest scoring QB of those available in my league so I made the right choice. Although the guy I was playing against had Kamara, negating all the TD's he threw. And he had Derrick Henry, Pollard, and Nick Folk. There was absolutely nothing I could do. Even at full strength, I was getting destroyed this week no matter what.

this year has been frustrating, i'm 4th in a league of 10 in TP and I will be 1-7 unless Chubb has about 4 TD's tonight. It happens.

It happens.  One year I had the 2nd most points in a league and finished in last place.  I only won like 4 games that year.  It was like every week I would face someone who had a perfect week and absolutely destroyed me by 30-50 points.

I managed to win my matchup but I was really sweating out the other guy having Diggs and the Bills DST on his team. Fortunately the 2nd half of the Packers/Bills game went my way. I survived Mahomes' bye week and get to enjoy having him the rest of the way (knock on wood).

Ugh, Kadarious Toney... count me among those who his paper thin hammies cost a win this week.

Pick up Traylon Burks if he's available in your league.

Sucks that all these younger guys are getting hurt towards the middle/end of the season. Would have been fun to see Wan'Dale Robinson, Javonte Williams, Toney, and Breece Hall all season long.

I have made a ton of WW moves the last few weeks that seem to work. Still need to win the final 2 weeks and get some help to get into the playoffs;

Garret Wilson

Jeff Wilson

Rashaad White

Traylon Burkes

I am literally 2nd in my league in total points and 9th out of 10 in record. It has been by far the most frustrating season playing fantasy to date.

Got knocked out of my guillotine league last week.  Had to navigate a few injuries(Kupp and Ertz were the two biggies).  Hill and Wilson Jr. both got hurt or left the game early which cost me a few points I'm sure, and then Higbee was basically a left tackle all game.  I missed moving on by 10 points.  First year that we did it and it was pretty fun!

We've done the Guillotine League thing for two years now.  I came in fourth last year, but won this year (only had 12 participants.)

As for regular fantasy, I'm the #8 seed right now with two weeks to go, so need a win this week to help cement my playoff berth (or at least give me space going into next week's regular season finale.)  Here's my "dilemna."

I have seven skill position players that I have managed to build up this season for a hopeful playoff run.  Each week, I can start 2 running backs, 2 receivers, and a flex (we do not use a full-time TE slot but, rather, roll the TE into the receiver group.)  My choices:  Aaron Jones, Saquon Barkley, Rachaad White, Stefon Diggs (acquired him at the trade deadline), CeeDee Lamb, Chris Godwin, and George Pickens.  Wherever I have looked this weekend, these seven players are all in the top 32 of RB-WR-TE in projections and rankings.

So, which should I go with?

Here are my thoughts:  Aaron Jones has the Bears (whom he ran all over in Week 2) so I think he's a no-brainer.  Barkley vs. White is my first conundrum.  You'd think Barkley is the easy choice, but he's been down lately and plays Washington, who have come around lately on defense.  White may or may not get a lot of playing time, completely dependent on Leonard Fournette's availability (latest I've seen is that he's playing.)

As for the receivers and flex spot, I already played Diggs (dang 41-yard score called back!), and I think Lamb is probably a good choice.  But for the final spot, Godwin seems like a must play and  Pickens has a great matchup, even with his QB playing semi-meh all season.  I'm leaning heavily toward Godwin, but perhaps one of White or Pickens is the better flex play?  Or should I play all three running backs and just go with the two receivers?

I guess it's a good problem to have.  Any other thoughts that I may not be thinking of?

Final week and I need some help to get into the playoffs:

who should I flex: Rachaad White, Jeff Wilson, Debo Samual, Treylon Burks, or James Cook.

Thinking Cook. White would be a good option if he wasn’t facing SF, WIlson had 1 Cary last week, Samual and Burks are hurt.

I think you are overthinking the matchup thing a bit. Cooks hasn’t had double digit points in like 10 games. And even then…he has done it twice all season. White has done it three games in a row (yes two matchup were good)

Both options are absolutely god awful though. Hopefully one of the injured guys plays.
