Message Board Renewal.

As a more than poor student at this point in my life, I can not afford to contribute right now, but as soon as I get another one of those "grown up jobs", I will be more than happy to do so.

Anyways, Brian and the mods get a lot of credit for this site, as they should, but I just wanted to send out another huge thank you for all those that have contributed so far. These contributions allow those of us like myself to continue to be able to waste precious time that could be spent studying, to instead debate the greatest burger in Wisconsin, where Bill Hall should play next year, the importance of the star color analyst, and predict who should be the 25th man on the roster in 2007.

I just wanted to send out a sincere thank you to everyone that has contributed. I was simply amazed at the speed with which people were willing to donate, and the generous amounts that people have given when I looked at the "view contributors" page. It makes me proud to be a Brewers fan, and part of the best fan website that there is, for any team, in any sport. For what it's worth, my birthday is coming up, perhaps I should ask for a check payable to Brewerfan from my grandparents this year...that seven dollars could go a long way!

But seriously, thank you.......and go Brewers!

Do I win anything for putting us over the top???

LV, you win exactly what I won for starting the 2007 effort: unending thanks from Brian. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif This is also what the other donors in between win.

Plus we all get continued access to this superb website. Truly, we are all winners.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

yay! my procrastination pays off!

Seriously, if I would have checked the site before lunch, I would have known about this and contributed. I know you suspended things, Brian, but do we still need money for anything that I can contribute to? I can't send via paypal until I get home from work, but still, I'd like to.

Buy a t-shirt or two... Get yourself some fancy duds while helping to pay for the store and get us some free advertising!

There's a Store link in the upper right part of the right-hand column on the main page. For me, that graphic is one of the last to load, so give it a chance to pop up.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Quote:
Pogo, I believe mine showed up immediately. How did paypal show up for anyone else?

Mine showed up right away, but I also have PayPal charge my credit card. Pogo mentioned he used a PayPal money market, which I am assuming is a different thing. My guess is that they process those transactions differently.

I used my checking account via Paypal. As I said, that was immediate.

I believe e-checks take longer. I've never done that.

I'd give it a day and then suggest that Brian check into it on the ezBoard end, since, according to pogokat's records, Paypal has done its thing.

Don't renew or sign up for ezSupporter. Yuku doesn't have an equivalent at this time.

Based on Brewerfan.net's renewal date, I'd guess that Yuku migration would occur in late February. If Brian submits a 'ticket' immediately, it could be sooner. On the other hand, because of the discount, a lot of sites could be migrating and it could take longer.

Migrations are automatic for members unless they choose to migrate their profiles on their own. However, they're done manually for administrators. They occur at a rate of about three boards per day.

As of a couple days ago, there were about 40 boards in line for migration.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
