BF.net Winter Meeting - 2/17/07, ~9 PM, Pooley's

Don't forget - the Brewerfan.net Winter Meeting 2007 is coming up quickly!

 

Saturday, February 17

9:00 PM is the start time, but don't feel like you can't come earlier.

Pooley's, a large sports bar just northeast of Madison, near I-90/94 (5441 High Crossing Blvd).

 

Directions to Pooley's:

From I-90/94 Southbound: Take Hwy. 151 north toward Sun Prairie. Turn right on Nelson Rd. and right again on High Crossing Blvd. You'll find Pooley's on your left on the east side of the road.

 

From I-90/94 Northbound: Exit High Crossing Blvd. Turn right and you will find Pooley's on your right (east side of road.)

 

If you're in the city of Madison and not taking the interstate: Hwy 151 is East Washington Avenue in town. Take E. Wash out past East Towne Mall, turn right on Nelson Rd. and right again on High Crossing Blvd. Pooley's is on your left.

 

The Winter Meeting (our third annual) is a fun opportunity to talk Brewers and meet some of your fellow posters in person.

I'm going to call that bar Pooley's and make sure things are still a go.

Unfortunately, I can not make it this year. I have had some issues with personal life and work pop up that I can not ignore. My presence has been minimal around the site lately and will remain that way for about another month or so. I will be around, just not quite as noticeable.

Things are a go at Pooley's. I spoke to Jeff and then to Greg on Feb. 6th. Please just go to the bar and report in with them. No real food or drink specials to speak of, and I'm not sure if you guys will want one tab or pay per person.

Wish I could be there, but there's very little chance of that for this year.

Well, the weather and the cold/flu season probably already make the winter meeting a "game day" decision for a lot of people.

I'm pretty certain I will be in attendance as well. Things are a bit crazy with work right now, but I'm hoping things will be settled down by the 17th.

 

Also, I have some extra Brewer bobbles for trade that I could bring if anyone is interested. I have an extra Uke nesting doll set and extra full-sized Hot Dog bobble if anyone would like them.
