American Family Fields of Phoenix - anything to see outside of spring training?

I'm going to Scottsdale next week and I was hoping to stop by American Family Fields of Phoenix to see the facilities.  I'm not sure if anything is open there outside of spring training.  I can't find any information online and when I called them, they still had a spring training voicemail so it's not looking too promising.  Does anyone know if anything is open there this time of year, like being able to enter the facilities and see the main field where the Brewers play their spring training games?  What about a fan store?  Is there enough to see around the outside of the facilities even if nothing else is open?  Thanks!

its not a place to go to after sundown. I went their one spring and was surprised on run-down the neighborhood was. I believe the intention on putting that complex where they did was to spark addition development in that area. It has been a decade or so since I was there, but it wasn't happening back then.

I don’t think there is a fan store.  The city I believe actually runs the day to day operations.  So when you call the facility it is the city and not the Brewers you are calling.  I believe it is only staffed during spring training other than the ticket booth for the ACL games.  I am not even sure that is even staffed.

I haven’t been down that way in awhile so not 100% sure what is or isn’t open.

It's like a half hour from Scottsdale. The main reason to go to that area would be to get some authentic Mexican food, which I am obsessed with and cannot get in my current locale. We also found a bakery+coffee (pregame) and a good paletas place (postgame) in that general area. I can't remember the names of any of them, there are like 10 options on google. It's only a "scary" neighborhood if you are afraid of establishments where everyone speaks Spanish.

I liked it way better than having to trek all the way over to Peoria which was surrounded by the usual suburban stuff. EXCEPT Peoria has a Portillos which I make an exception for.

I wouldn't bother going just to see the grounds if there isn't an event.

Not really as nearly all parts of Phoenix you can hear someone speaking Spanish and plenty of restaurants in the downtown Phoenix are speak primarily Spanish. The problem with the area is once the sun goes down the guns come out.

It is one of the highest crime areas in Phoenix. The hospital there is known for treating trauma mostly gun shot wounds and stabbings.  If you are ever shot in Phoenix request to go to the Maryvale hospital.  In fact Maryvale is always near the top 10 of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Phoenix every year.
