BrewerFan wiki?

This may have been brought up in the past or may not be feasible for one reason or another, but have you guys ever thought of adding a BrewerFan wiki like the ones that baseballreference.com, baseballthinkfactory.org, and sosh.com have?

 

I don't mean an entry on wikipedia, but rather a whole wiki devoted to the Brewers and various events in team and fan history. I think it could be a great thing that would really help to make BF.net the one stop shop for Brewer fans. The pages for individual players could also be used as repositories for links to all the articles that Mass and others go to so much trouble finding.

 

I think it would be fun and I would be willing to devote a lot of my time to helping get it going if such a thing is possible. The wikipedia-type software seems to fall under the GPL, so I don't think there would any cost there. I guess it would have to be hosted on a server, but text doesn't usually take up that much room, does it?

 

I don't know, maybe I'm stepping out of line here but I think it could be very interesting.

It's something I've been thinking about doing, and when we re-write the site again, I'll try and baked in. I would especially appreciate it for entries to our existing baseball FAQ.

 

Harnessing the power of all of you guys is what has made this site terrific.
