Unfortunately, I have no visibility into the inner workings of ezBoard. If I find out a root cause, I'll definitely report it here. Each time something dumb like this happens, it furthers my resolve to write software that doesn't suck.

EZboard was down for much of the day. Brian was working with them to get service restored.

why was the main site down in addition to the forums? I'm just curious because I thought they were pretty much 2 seperate entities.

When you go to the main page (i.e. Brewerfan.net), you'll note there is a DISCUSSIONS section near the bottom of the page that shows some of the recent threads that are being discussed. My guess is that this tie between the forums and the main page caused BF.net to never completely load.

 

So, event thought they are separate, they are interconnected.

It's like in The Dark Crystal. Brewerfan.net represents the kind and gentle Mystics, and EZBoard represents the vile and treacherous Skeksis. Although they are polar opposites, they are all part of the same being, and any fate that befalls one thus befalls the other.

ezBoard was down? I thought Braun playing in his first game caused a massive hit count to Bf.net and that's why it was down.
