why not bf.net wristbands?

i can't tell you how many times I am at a game, or signing, or whatever and I think to myself, they are probably on brewerfan.net, but I am too afraid to ask, I remember one poster saying that we should get a sign, but I think we should get wristbands, like the livestrongs and such. I can't imagine that they cost much to get, and you could sell them for $2 or so, I would buy.

We could partner with Jostens for class rings!

Well if we're going this far with this theme, why not go all out and get some lettermen jackets? If that doesn't get attention, I don't know what will. Brewers fandom cred skyrockets, street cred plummets. It's a sacrifice that we'll all have to make.

Seriously though, I know it's been brought up before, but every time I see Brewers gear around campus (UW) I wonder if s/he is a bf.netter. If UW football/basketball discussions and Facebook are of any indication, I know that the university has a pretty strong contingent of users. Aside from receiving a reaction after whispering "whoa solvdd?", are there any other easy identifiers of bf.net members? Since I've never been to an event or anything, the visual image I have as I respond to messages is the "bf.net guy" on the header of the site - you can't all look like that, right?

I met quite a few members in 2005 and they looked surprisingly normal. Actually, we has a "post a picture of yourself" thread not long ago as well. However, this is a message board, so I'm sure we have members that look like they'd own 12 or more copies of the dungeon master's guide.

I remember that photo thread and I've also seen the 'About Us' page, so I know that not everybody looks like they live in a cave or something.

I do, however, wonder what some members (especially the banned) are like in person, and what role they play in society when they are not message board big-men know-it-alls.

They're stock photos, don't be fooled.

I think several of those pictures are from the day the staff were let out of the cave.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
