One low key benefit of today’s win is the Brewers went 3-3 in the season series against the Braves. So in the unlikely case the teams finished the season with identical records fighting for playoff positioning at least the tiebreaker goes beyond the head-to-head category.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

That was a crappy throw from Wong.

Come off the base and catch it. It was a crappy throw for a double play, but it's a ball that needs to be caught.

C’mon, you’re not even being fair now.

Even last year when he was pretty terrible, he had a .256 OBP.

Sorry, I'm probably not being fair. I just find the guy useless wh

Sorry to have not been on the board for this one. But my hands were off the steering wheel and clapping for Keston's walk off.  Anything but joy and gratitude for this game is unacceptable. EDIT:  I should say joy &c. is all I can feel about it.

Yes he does but the Brewers don't play into that strength against RHP and then pretty much the first couple of pages of this thread are dump him, time to move on, strike 1,2,3, etc. when he doesn't hit Max Fried

To be fair, those criticisms weren't solely based on how he looked against Fried yesterday. Coming into yesterday's game, Keston was barely above a .200 average and was striking out at a nearly 50% clip. Granted it's been a small sample, but he really hadn't shown anything to make it a larger sample. Perhaps yesterday's heroics will flip a switch, and Counsell will be more inclined to get him regular ABs now. I really wish he could play 3B, because that would make it much easier to find ABs for him. As it stands, you can't sacrifice Rowdy's ABs. I wouldn't mind giving Keston a few more starts at DH against righties, though. Give Cutch all those ABs against lefties.

Fried is a left hand pitcher, Hiura shouldn't have been playing.

Exactly my point. The Brewers don't play enough into his strenghts. He had good at bats in the 9th and 11th against RHP but many posters including yourself are ripping into him when facing LHP Fried. Based on history he was going to fail early in in the game.
