It's very sad that with an 11:30 start time. I have a solid chance that I could still catch the 9th inning after work. I haven't been one to complain too much about length of games over the years, but there was no good reason for last night's game to push 4 hours. It's getting into football territory where I can finish about a page of light reading in between plays.

Every Reds game I look at their starter ERA and say "woof, another 8-something ERA guy".

Their rotation ERA is 8.20 this season. That's almost unbelievable.

I believe Sal Bando and Dean Taylor each had children that married and had a child who is now the GM of the Reds.

I cannot wait for that to change in 2023. It's long overdue.

I hate these YouTube games. No TV app so can't watch. I've tried online, but my broadcasts are irratic and sketchy, so pretty much useless. Who at MLB came up with this stupid idea, and is it going to continue next year????

Short answer - yes. Everything is going to streaming, and YouTube is one of the big players. If they want to continue doing MLB games, they'll have them.

YouTube definitely has a TV app, and it's one of the most widely available.  It doesn't even require any kind of registration or log in, just open the app, find the game and click to watch.  I love the YouTube games because the Bally's app is trash, so it's nice to watch a game on a decent service.

Does anyone know if the You Tube video has an option to sync with a radio broadcast?

With Josh Maurer on the radio call you might be better off with the random YouTube broadcast crew.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Sigh....Thanks Urias.

I now recall (correctly?) that he had a few lapses at 3d base last year.  Did they ever give him an error?  Radio says it was scored incorrectly as a hit.

I don't have a smart TV, so NO apps. I can get most other sports channels on my TV thru Spectrum.

Three brutal defensive plays in one inning.  How is Urias grounder not an error?  The “he didn’t touch it” argument typically only applies in the OF.  You can’t reward an infielder for whiffing so bad that you miss the whole ball…

Great time for Renfrow to be mic’d up yelling got it as he’s 4 feet from it.
