Yes it does. That's why I'm happy with my team and my manager that's been to the playoffs four years in a row and currently possesses the best record in the NL.

There is literally nothing you could say that would convince me that was a bad irresponsible decision at all

1 out of 162. CC has run his bullpen like this for years and we have outperformed our run differential.

And you don't think a bad decision has ever been made during that time period?

Oh well. Gave it a good effort at the end, though we also helped give the game away with our defense. Braves are going to be right there at the end, once again. I am still very happy with where this team is at right now.

Well enjoy the loss then.

The loss was the result of 9 innings of stuff,  not in any way related to the decision to pitch a quality pitcher in Perdome

No they usually don't put the worst guy in the pen in for two innings in a one run game.  That's why I pointed it out today.  It was dumb and a major reason for the loss today.

Of course not. Show me a team that doesn't make any bad decisions, and I'll buy you a beer. The results over the last 4+ years sure as hell speak for themselves. Counsell made the right call with the hand he was dealt. It didn't work out, move on and win the next one.

This loss had a heck of a lot more to do with bad defense on our part and great defense by the Braves than with Counsell's decision to pitch Perdomo for the last two innings.

He's been a good manager and the team has done well.  Today is a good teaching moment that demonstrates why you don't treat a one run deficit the same as a five run deficit.

Every loss has many reasons.  There's a limited amount of things a manager can control.  When your gold glover kicks a ball in center it is what it is.

Honestly, the biggest reason people immediately took issue was the referral to him as a trashcan.   If you had said, "man I don't know about going with perdomo here",  nobody would have thought twice.

I've always disliked hyperbole.   I think it is the most horrifice thing that has ever plagued mankind, or will ever plague mankind

Ok, wastebasket, trash receptacle, recycling bin.  Didn't know trashcan was a bad word.  He's probably a wonderful human being.
