Cain has definitely been a consumate pro during his time here and earned his contract. But unfortunately his time has come- -- he's completely washed up. It's been a fun second ride but it'll be good to move on after 2022.

Can't believe that Cain made such a bone headed play like that . that's like a little league play.  Has to be better at the pro level !

I have been ready for Taylor to play 4 games a week since the season started

If Cain remains on the roster (due to salary & history / leadership intangibles), he should be a late inning defensive replacement “only”

Cain’s offense is currently so bad he simply cannot afford mental mistakes

I’d love to see the Brewers upgrade in CF … & soon

Brewers outfielders having a rough go of it the last couple innings

We need some youth & athleticism out there … McCutcheon is past his prime defensively … Yelich is adequate at best defensively

Not sure if help comes from Nashville or from a trade - but we need to add a stud in the OF … preferably in CF

The missed opportunities are starting stack up. Brewers are 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position.

After the last week, they were bound to regress a bit against a decent team for RISP.  I’m just happy they’re still hitting!

That's the thing,  I love what Cain has done for us , but it is time to move on .  Problem is how , he makes too much to trade and do we really think Taylor is that much of a improvement. . have no idea who would be available and how much they would cost.

Taylor is most definitely an improvement with the bat. Cain, at this point in his career, cannot do what Taylor did yesterday, which is hit a 98 mph fastball at the shoulders deep into the bleachers. Cain will be staying on the roster for the duration of the season due to his salary, but it should really only be as a late-inning defensive replacement. As far as a potential trade, I wouldn't mind taking a look at Joey Gallo should the Yankees make him available. Or Cedric Mullins from the Orioles....

I agree with everything that is being said about Cain, I just hope he doesn't become the board whipping boy.  He is what he is at this point.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave
