While I'll be able to catch part of tonight's game, I'm actually really excited to see Houser vs. Greene tomorrow. I've wanted to see Greene pitch since he was drafted.

Gutierrez has had a rough time in his 4 starts so far this year. But he was very tough in his 3 starts against the Brewers last season, all games the Reds won.

Granted they just scored 5 runs in the first inning, but the Cardinals "A" lineup right now includes a washed-up, 42 year old (at least) Albert Pujols hitting cleanup, with every one of their hitters except for Arenado, Goldschmidt, and Edman sucking really bad. Not that our offense is elite by any means, but I just don't see how, unless they manage to summon more of that devil magic, they will be able to keep up with us and our top-notch pitching over the course of the season. Could end up being another smooth summer ride to a division title....

Don’t need good hitters if they can stand there and get rewarded for looking at strike 3 and strike 4.

Good. Avoided the blow up inning. I don't blame Freddy too much for what took place there. Bottom line is that we gotta score some runs against a pitcher with an 7+ ERA.

Maybe if we were facing the Dodgers, but these are the Reds we're talking about....And our offense isn't that bad. It's not elite, but it's not terrible or bad even.
