If I was to guess I would say Lauer will have the most wins of any starter this year simply because he will usually be matched against lesser starters where Burnes will usually be going against the other teams best and runs will be harder to come by.

I don’t think it works that way. Teams set their rotations and as the season progresses with off days and rainouts, different days of rest, injuries, etc, the starts of the top starters are not in synch.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I knew there was some variability but thought many times they adjusted to get top of the rotation guys lined up.

I keep checking in on my phone while at a basketball game and yikes… is this game as boring as the box score looks?

Yes

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Suter has not been good this year

He adds so much to team chemistry

He’s the 26th man on the roster as far as added value

He needs to have a few quick innings - he’s ruining a good start by Burnes & may allow the game to get out of reach

Didn't like the walk but other than that he looked fine today.

Okay. I don't really care if we we win at this point, considering we won the first two. Just would like to see them get some baserunners and put some pressure on the Cubs' pitchers.

I must be selfish … I always care if we win

I understand that perspective … no damage done

I hate that we had to use Gustave there

Suter hasn’t had enough “clean” innings to my liking

Maybe I have unrealistic expectations

I think the Demons of the Weekend 10 Pack misread the schedule and thought we were going today.

This was the type of game we saw too often last year, though this one is going faster.
