April, 2022: 15 wins, 7 losses

It's pretty damned hard to complain about these results, even if the schedule was quite easy. The thing is that if you don't win against the bad teams, you certainly won't win against the good teams.

So now the Brewers face a tougher schedule in May: CIN, ATL, MIA, WAS, SDP, STL.

Obviously, you have to bank some wins against Cincy but what do we expect from the Brewers in May?

Nats, Reds and Cubs are not good teams.  Atlanta is probably better than their record.  Several tough road series in there.  I'll go 17-12 but there is a path to 20 wins if the offense is finally clicking and stays that way.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

I gotta think that 15 wins in May is very do-able.  I'll be pleased with anything in addition to that.

What a difference a week makes. After losing to the Giants on Monday, our team OPS was .599. After five games against Pittsburgh and Chicago, our team OPS is now a comparably more respectable .673. The highest it has been since Opening Day.
