Now I would say that this week the Brewers offense has been inconsistent: 1, 2, 12, 3, 3, 11.

We’re going to go tomorrow night because our tickets weren’t selling on Stub Hub and I would rather go than take a loss on them.

If the game is like most of the ones in the Weekend 10 pack last year the over under on Brewers runs scored will be about .5, especially considering that a LHP will be starting for the Cubs.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

So I guess it’s time to worry about how we match up with the Mets in the first round

hahaha

Obviously it’s still early, but I think the Brewers only having STL as real competition should increase their chances of getting a 1st round bye.

LAD has SF & SD to contend with while at least PHI is trying in the East besides ATL & NYM.

Dude can you make a single post without taking a shot at the Brewers offense, particularly on a day when we just scored 11 runs? Enjoy the game, though!

Lauer is pitching & the pen is fresh so the over under on Cubs runs is also 0.5

Just get me to the playoffs with a healthy and in-form Burnes, Woodruff, and Peralta, with Williams and Hader ready to close out games from the pen, and a more than capable offense led by a resurgent Yelich and key trade deadline acquisition Rafael Devers.

I just realized the Reds, on the heels of another awful loss, now have a team slugging percentage below .300. That doesn’t even seem possible this far into the season.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

I’m assuming renfroe has already done more this month than jbj did all year

True, but the real comparison for me is what he does compared to what Garcia did last year because that’s the spot he is filling.

Garcia is off to a very slow start this year. It’s pretty certain that he won’t be matching last years HR total playing half his games in that Marlins park.

Seems like you're going out of your way to pick an argument now.

This was not a shot at the Brewers offense, but a follow up comment to one I made earlier this week about Schroeder referring to the Brewers offense being "inconsistent" when it had been pretty consistently unproductive. It's like when he says that a runner "doesn't run all that well" it really means that he's slower than the hills. When he says the offense has been "inconsistent" it really means they haven't been hitting a lick.

This week they have really been feast or famine inconsistent.

Our enjoyment of the game tomorrow may depend heavily on whether we have Cubs fans sitting on both sides of us who feel obligated to reach over us to high five each other whenever the Cubs do anything. That gets old in a hurry and is one of the reasons we usually sell our tickets to Cubs games.

Come on now. You're going to say I'm picking the argument when you for some reason decided to, out of the blue, whine about my two whole posts about the Red Sox and Phillies offensive struggles, claiming how "tiring" it is to "constantly hear" about things that have "no relevance" to the Brewers offense. And you did take a shot at the Brewers offense, saying how the over/under on runs scored tomorrow is 0.5. But that is all besides the point. You do nothing on here except complain about the Brewers offense. That's your schtick. We get it, and we're growing quite tired of it. I would encourage you to sit back and just appreciate what we are currently witnessing, because it's nothing less than the best prolonged stretch in the history of our beloved Brewers.
