Thank you for digging this up! Confirms what I remember. Move him to lower leverage situations, and let him get right. Then, return him to his normal setup role. Gott has earned some higher leverage action, anyways.

I want all you beautiful Brewers fans to know I am holding down the gross game in Appleton right now to ensure Woody and the lads experience success in Milwaukee. These are the things we must do to prevent disruptions in 'The Force'. Enjoy the game, gents! It's 7-2 Quad Cities in a painful affair top of 5.

lol

I was there too!

A bit chilly to say the least.

I saw those same chilly winds this past week as that High Pressure front made its way from the arctic down through the Inland Northwest. Gross weather! It was giving fits all day in the outfield. Did you stay the entire contest? What a game!

We may have the best starter and reliever in the game right now (with impressive depth behind them). Just think about that for a sec.....I know the lineup irks us a lot more than we would all like and there remains that one elusive goal, but we should try to better appreciate the fact that what we are currently witnessing is the golden age of Brewers baseball.

Nice efficient sweep.

This series highlights for me how important home runs are for this offense. 15 runs in the 3 games and I think 11 rode home on 5 HRs.
Not a lot of traffic on the bases but still enough runs to win.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

This might be the worst year of brewer game television ads I can remember.  I will actively go out of my way to never purchase a fizzy hard cider

If you mean Vizzy, I'm with you.  That commercial is on at least 10 times per game, and I am not exaggerating.

It's just ridiculous.

It's not even a bad commercial at face value, it just gets way, way, way overplayed. I could have added about 5 more "ways". Anything that gets that repetitive is going to grate on just about anyone's nerves. It got to a point a few days ago where I couldn't get that dang song that plays in the background out of my head I was hearing it so often.

I nominate it for the Pizza Ranch, Gruber Lawffices hall of shame.

My Man! I wish I could have been there with you. I jumped out of my seat several times in those late innings. Man, I tell ya, I though Joe Gray Jr. was going to take that lead in the bottom of the eighth on that deep fly ball to left field. Little did I know! Little did I know...

Four game winning streak makes us officially the hottest team in baseball.

Last year's team didn't win four games in a row until the last weekend of May.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

It would be nice if we could give huira some consistent abs, but unfortunately for him the only offensive player playing well is who huira would replace.  Maybe he could take time from cutch, but I don't see that happening much.

Great Sweep really great starts by our Co Aces really lights out from Josh too. I am a bit concerned still about  Williams he seems to lost something or teams are laying off the Airbender. I am hoping that CC does move him out of the  8 Inning spot and use Gott at this point since he pitching well.

But that sample size also doesn't take into account his recent mechanical adjustments at the plate. He's always had the talent and the exit velocity, the question has just been whether he can make contact at a reasonable enough rate for it to matter.

I’ve heard enough comments about mechanical adjustments over the years for both hitters and pitchers to treat them with extreme skepticism.

My comment was that Hiura has looked a lot like last year’s version and came after he struck out for the second time in the game swinging right through a pitch right down the middle.

Last year’s version hit the ball occasionally too.

I don’t know if the Brewers can afford to give him ABs more than a couple of times a week when they have better options in the spots he can fill (1B, 2B, and DH).

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
