I learned that early on and limited my contact to the ones who weren't so....slow we'll say. So if you put me on watch because I outwitted and debated your below average stock base, I'm sorry. I stopped communicating with them and I think my contacts with the well bred users was better so to speak.

 

Anyways, I'll enjoy the cat and mouse game as I'm sure yo will too in figuring out what my other account is and how to ban it. But, outwitting you doesn't look to pose much of a challenge. You reak of pork!

I just felt it was necessary to share this particular quote from BraunsBoyfriend, in case we are ever questioned as to why we ban the kind of people that we do.

 

And if you feel like you're all 3133+ by using anonymous proxies to mingle with us "inbreds or *******" again, it's not rocket science to do a reverse dns or a google search on our end. I think our "below average stock base" is up to the task.

Actually, there wasn't really any thread.

 

He made a post (which I deleted) which was an unsubstantiated accusation of someone being racist. I sent him a warning (second strike) and he responded with a number of messages calling myself and this site racist, which earned him his third strike. I sent him a message explaining why he was banned, and this is the response that I got.

Adding to what b19 said, the majority of the moderators aren't big into a lot of deleting because it censors a bit more than most of us would like, but I think this was a good time to do it. It 'preserved' a good thread.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Braunsboyfriend has rubbed me the wrong way for the past month and a half after he basically put down my entire profession (teachers). And since then I pretty much cringed every time he posted. He had got better lately, keeping things to baseball and making statements that were pretty level headed and well thought out.

 

It's very unfortunate that he played the racist card. I thought maybe he had turned the corner, so to speak.

There's just no room here for this sort of nonsense.

 

Most of what the mods get involved in here stems from the basic premise of "Don't be a jerk." Disagreements will happen, and they actually contribute to the site because they spur debate, which is perfect for a forum like this. The point is, be respectful, "I disagree", or "yes, but", will get you a lot further than "How can you possibly think the way you do?"

 

The vast majority of posters here are outstanding, which is why this site is a model for all others of its kind. Thank you to all of you who make positive contributions.

With that name, I figured it was a girl as well. After reading the mods saying "he", I'm assuming it's a guy.
