2021-2022 Bucks-Bulls Playoff Series Thread

This is admittedly the ultimate sports cliché, but watching parts of various playoff games it just seems like other teams want it more.

Bucks energy and crispness are at pre-season levels.  We've seen this before, but one of these times they won't be able to just turn it on when necessary.

Hopefully heading back to Chicago tied 1-1 will add some energy and crispness to their game, because so far they look like they're taking the Bulls about as serious as this forum is.

Bulls didn't beat the Bucks last night. Bucks beat the Bucks. Bucks show up, they roll.

But they haven't. I seriously doubt the Bulls can manage 4 wins here but at some point the Bucks need to stop trying to sleepwalk through this series.

Middleton being out probably makes the Boston series a coin flip.

This sounds optimistic.

The Bulls showed in the first two games that this series was going to be much tougher than everyone expected. Without Middleton this series becomes a tossup at best for the Bucks.

Playing without Middleton against the Celtics (holding the home court advantage) I think makes the Celtics a pretty clear favorite.

We found out last year that injuries can play a critical role in the playoffs; they clearly had a role in the Bucks getting past the Nets. This year the Bucks may be on the wrong side of that coin.

Repeating as champions was always going to be a long shot, and it just got a lot tougher.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

And I think calling this series a "tossup at best" because they lost Middleton is overly pessimistic. The Bulls are not very good. There's a reason why they were considered the easiest matchup the Bucks could have gotten for Round 1. The Bucks have played two of their worst games of the season in this series, and it is tied at 1-1. I think that odds are still pretty good that they roll tonight, and this series is over pretty easily in 5.

I 'think' he was referring to the future Bucks v Celtics series.

Apologies if I'm wrong. Little sleep!
