All it’s going to take is 8 scoreless innings (mostly from the bullpen) and for the Brewers offense to hit its maximum run production of 5.

Counsell is already looking disgustedly at his lineup card and trying to figure out what 6 relievers and position players he’s going to use to cover the last 8 innings.

Cards are headed for double digits tonight.

If the Brewers can go out in 3 minutes every inning and the Cardinals lose interest in piling on, the game might be over in 3 hours. But, I won’t be watching unless and until I see that it’s gotten closer.
