Thurs. 4/14 - Minor League Action

If I’m being honest, and it’s early, the so called top prospect I am least intrigued by at present is Mitchell. I’ve watched every Shuckers game and I’m not seeing all that much to be excited about as of yet. He looks like an athlete and moves Iike a smooth athlete but he’s been playing, really, like ‘a guy’. I really hope he lights a spark because I’m looking for more. As is, until he shows me something he’s moving further down my personal Prospect List.

Our early season lower levels, all this being said, are off to an incredible start (21-6 cumulative record after tonight’s slate). What I’ve probably most impressed by, outside of individual performances, is the cumulative performances of the bullpens High-A through Triple-A. I was not expecting this type of consistency and shut-down.

Really nice to see Joe Gray hit a key HR and Double in Game 2. Such an easy young man to root for.
