Devanney ties it on his 25th birthday baby! After Zamora beats a ground ball on a check swing he manages to swipe second base on a two-strike uncontested steal. Cam knocks one through the heart of the infield just left of second base and Freddy easily scores from second. Reetz follows with a rope to LF and the Shucker bats are waking up. Can they take the lead?

Michael Harris gets on board versus Nash Walters for the Braves in the top of the eighth - many consider him to be their #1 prospect and he is showing why tonight. He swipes second showing off his speed as he beats a bang-bang throw from Reetz. One pitch later and he scores on a rope single to RF where Lutz is incapable of turning on the ball in a meaningful way (not that it would have mattered - Harris has absolute jets). Harris is a HR shy of a cycle and has hit every ball extremely hard. Walters escapes without further damage striking out two batters and inducing a hard liner to left where Valerio hauls it in with ease. 2-1 Braves, bottom of the eighth.

This is a great Double-AA Shuckers/Braves contest. 2-2 on a Dillard liner to the wall in LF and Valerio, even with a late jump as he waited for the ball to clear the OF'ers head, makes it home. Now, we have two straight walks and the bases are juiced for the third time tonight as Devanney comes to the plate. And, on a 2-0 count, he airmails a pop-up to middle RF versus the Braves' #15 ranked prospect in Indigo Diaz.

What a finish. Shuckers 3-2 on a bases loaded Tristen Lutz walk. The AB of the inning, however, goes to Gabe Holt who impressively works an 0-2 count to a 12 pitch walk. After Valerio and Wiemer both ground out, Diaz opts to walk Dillard leading to further loss of control and a walk of Lutz on a 3-1 pitch.

Your 2022 Biloxi Shuckers remain undefeated at 5-0.

And a walkoff walk. Wow. The Brewers almost have to have the best affiliates record at this point.

That inning is owed to Gabe Holt. Just a heck of an AB when he faced a very unfavorable situation and continued to fight off pitches.

Hell of a comeback by the Sounds tonight in Gwinnett. Down 0-5 heading into the 8th on 2 hits they manage to put up a 7-spot and escape with victory by the strength of their bullpen. Loved watching it.
