Game Thread (4/13/2022): Brewers (Burnes) at Orioles (Means) - 6:05 PM CDT

Eye Black

Well it hasn’t been a pretty first week on the road, but there are only 7 MLB teams that have more wins than the Brewers do tonight so it wasn’t exactly as damaging as it felt like at times. Hopefully things take a step forward back at AmFam this weekend.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

I’m keeping track. First seven innings: 1:48. Since then: 1:08  for the 8th and top of the ninth.

You would have loved todays Mets- Phillies game.

A 9 inning game that took over 4 hours.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Huge to escape with that win.

Letting that one get away would have felt like two losses. Lose a game and burn out the top of the bullpen for tomorrow to boot.

Now see if they can win at least two from the Cards. Don’t want to see a replay of that series last September.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

You had to bring that up didn't you. It was finally pushed into the back corners of my memory but not anymore.

There’s more than one humiliating home series against the Cardinals branded into my brain.

Glad they got the win. A .500 road trip isn't awful, I will be really curious who Counsell leans on tomorrow out of the pen if they have a lead, I would assume Hader, Williams, and Boxberger will all be unavailable

Suter to bridge. Cousins and the kid to close.

Clairvoyant pessimism is certainly a new one for this board.

It makes sense. If you’re right you aren’t as disappointed. If you are wrong you are pleasantly surprised. It’s really the most optimistic approach.
