You coulda' stayed and read a dictionary and be more stimulated than watching this game.

I usually pick up a copy of the tax code between innings for excitement.  Nothing like reading thousands of words that mean absolutely nothing to make Brewers baseball seem interesting.

I think it’s going to be a fact of life with this team that a high percentage of their runs are going to come on HRs. It’s hard to string together hits with batters like this.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

The offense was a huge problem last year and it was our undoing in September and it's not really improved from 2021. It might be fine but I don't know why anyone would just assume it will be. If we're talking about Woodruff and Burnes than I would assume we'll be fine.

Whining about whiners is no better than whining about the Brewers, in my humble opinion ... ?

good call, a better idea is just not to visit game threads and avoid the tear-filled circle jerk of posters like you crying every time a guy doesn't get a hit with runners on base...

I think the experiment in having lots of league average players isn't working.  Sure over a season you can rack up enough wins, but when you hit the playoffs you are facing the best of the best and then you're exposed.  Just like the A's teams with the super high OBP.  Sure they would score a lot of runs, but at some point you face pitching and defense that requires you to get some hits, not just make out only 63% of the time.

I will love the Brewers forever & always

That said - they are not a good team

Their offense is horrible - not bad, not cold - horrible

What a joke to repeat what didn’t work last year - unbelievable

Even the double yesterday by Yelich was luck - swung late - certainly didn’t strike the ball solidly

This could be a challenging year if our pitching is not otherworldly

I have no confidence in our bats

Can't hit, can't field anything, can't throw strikes.  Lucky to have one win so far.

If BF.com was allowed to give the post-game motivational speech...

Not just “at Night” anymore.

It's reasonable to think they could be quite a bit worse than last year.  They lost a huge part of the offense in Garcia and it's very possible Renfroe can't replace him.  There's a number of players with strong years last year who may regress (Tellez, Adames for example).  The only real addition is McCutcheon but that's not really an addition since DH is new to the league and everyone is adding a DH.

A better approach would be to cheer up the whiners with some positive spins!  That might help until we get some wins!
