I’m not going to be able to watch Williams.

So what I've learned to day in terms of tools BF.com has at its disposal are a "rally Brock" @Brock Beauchamp and a Bruised Crew @BruisedCrew that should forever shield their eyes during Williams appearances.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Hey, I just noticed that Pittsburgh is on the verge of winning a baseball game. I wasn't sure they'd do that all season.

I bet there's a Pirates fan right now saying the exact same thing about Milwaukee

I am more than willing to avoid watching Williams if it will produce these results.

It’s a “relief” to salvage a game in this series that by any objective measure was poorly played against a weak team.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Nice win.

Some thoughts:

1)  I can't believe how poor our three starters threw the ball in this series.  But sometimes it happens because . . .  baseball.  Our #4 and #5 starters may just throw 8 innings of great ball because, you know . . . baseball.

2)  Bullpen looked much better today, with the exception of Cousins having trouble gripping the baseball, it seemed.

3)  I'm not thrilled with depending on the long ball to score our runs.

4)  A win is much better than two losses.  I know @Brock Beauchamp asked for at least 94 more of these, but I'd rather we get about 105 more, which would be just about right for a World Series berth.

Let's win some in Baltimore!

Hey, I said at least... I'm also okay with 105 more.

Adames reaction to the replay announcement was great. What took them so long to figure out the umps should be announcing the calls, anyway.

I've been calling for the umps to make these announcements for a few years now.

Definitely a lot of overreactions early in the game based a lot on the first 2 games prior, starting with myself. We don't know for sure how this season will go, but our track record with DS and CC should tell us there's a pretty good chance we'll be fine. Either way, it's definitely too early to draw any conclusions.

As far as the first series went, it was two games that could have gone either way that we split, and one game that was never going to go our way. Given that our big 3 clearly were nowhere close yet, I'll take it.
