Cubs are having very good ABs, taking close pitches, laying off high fastballs. Very disciplined series from them so far, so credit where due.

Brewers have not played well in any facet of the game either. I am more disappointed in that than in the prospect of an 0-3 start. This series has already featured a lot of the things that have challenged my love of the game over the past few years, namely a lack of balls in play and the Brewers' inability to produce runs without dingers.

Long way to go today, and I still think this is going to be a fun season, but early losses do start to claw back spring excitement, and admitting it doesn't mean anyone's ready to give up or even all that pessimistic about this team's prospects.

Yeah, exactly this. You can be disappointed with the start and how the team is playing and not be saying that it means the season is over. It's ok to be disappointed and it doesn't mean you think things are hopeless.

I agree. It's perfectly normal to get down about 1 game or even a series.  I just think comments like "This team stinks" during the 1st inning of the 3rd game of the season are a bit overboard.

I still expect the pitching to be very good but its not an overreaction to think this lineup is way short.

That wind to left field is really messing with Freddy's location.

76 pitches in 3 innings. That’s probably it for Peralta for today.

Is the wind really blowing out there? The wind here is out of the southeast and at Wrigley that would be straight in from CF.

Whatever the wind is doing it doesn’t seem to be affecting the four or five week tappers weak tappers the Brewers have hit to the first baseman.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
