Burnes sitting at a relatively efficient 46 pitches through 3 innings. Have to think they are probably thinking 80 for him. Hopefully he can get through 6.

Exactly. Even without his location, he has managed to do this efficiently. If he can repeat inning 3, he can go 6 or 7.

Its just one game but this offense looks awfully similar to last season.

If the Brewers scored 10 runs in the first three innings would you have come here to post, OMG WHOLE NEW OFFENSES!!1!

Looking for confirmation bias after three innings of a 1,500 inning season might be jumping the gun a little.

The Braves were 52-55 on August 1st & won the World Series last year.

16 pitches in the 4th has him at 62 pitches. I'm guessing they pull him after 5, unless he's super efficient.

We shall see, my friend. Where did he leave his last outing in ST? 80? I can't recall off-hand. I think they are aiming for 90 today if he is dialed - and he appears to have gotten stronger.

Dang Cutch has hit the ball on the screws three times now

Short spring training....guessing that will lead to some weirdness early on.

Let Hiura pinch hit for Rowdy and let there be a competition at first base.

Hiura will get his shot, but he's gonna have to earn it, slowly, after the last couple years. They aren't going to hand anything to him. Tellez was MUCH better than Keston last year, so Keston has a lot of ground to make up.
