Sorry for the delay in getting this up, everyone! I'm literally on a plane leaving LAX as I type this... Anyway, we have our first Opening Day since the site switch-over and I'm excited to watch Burnes pitch today! 

Who's your pick to click today? I'm taking Yelich. I think he rebounds a little this year and starts off the season strong against a righty on the mound.

Wong is 16 for 45 against Hendricks so I'll say he has a good day. I would love to see Yelich get on the board today.

Waking up knowing there is baseball that counts today just feels different.

Opening Day really is the best (even if I can’t watch the game because of stupid Wrigley day game start time).

Prolly just a tenure thing. Hendricks started the last two ODs for the Cubs.

Kind of amazing this is the first time Tyrone Taylor has made an opening day roster but congrats to him. Has been with the organization since 2012.

Not to mention that Hendricks generally owns the Brewers in early season games. 
 

Hendricks on the mound tossing up crap on a cold, wet day with the wind blowing in I think runs are going to be hard for the Brewers to come by.

Burnes fought is a bit there, but no harm. Nice tag from Adames.

Narvaez has improved his throw to 2nd so much in his time as a Brewer. Not quite Pina-esque, but close.

That said, heck of an athletic move by Adames to put the tag on there.

Well yeah, certainly miles and miles away from any long-term conclusions for 2022. 

 

That said after the '20 and '21 seasons the "he'll come around" confidence if he struggles early is no longer going to be there for most.

Yelich made about 300-some outs in his MVP season. It's going to get really exhausting if we hear about his struggles 300+ times this year.
