Tue. 4/5 - Nashville Opens the BrewerFanatic Link Report Era

The Sounds have the Brewers' minor league scene all to themselves in terms of formal games until Friday. AAA Nashville sends LHP Ethan Small to the mound vs. the Durham Bulls (Rays), at home Tuesday at 6:35 Central, the first time these clubs have ever met.

We'll be using a date-specific link like the one here to kick off each day's thread on this forum.

Important - new for 2022 within our BrewerFanatic banner:

To start each day, we'll have a thread here on the forum, and it will be updated as needed - however, we will need to create a final version for posting on our BrewerFanatic home page each early morning. And as lineups are announced by the affiliates, those lineups will often be posted as our friend damuelle has done in the past. So, we'll be copying and pasting the meaty part of the forum thread into the posted BrewerFanatic Daily Minor League Report, at which point the contents of the forum thread will be deleted, with only a link to the home page article in an otherwise closed thread. Often our game updates will be seen for the first time when that final version is posted.

So you may wish to wait until the home page article is posted to comment on your favorite prospects that following morning, because we won't necessarily be bringing comments posted on the forum over to the final report. You are free to post in the forum thread, especially interesting nuggets we may include in the home page report, but be aware that very often those comments won't be maintained online at all.

We are curious to see how the new-but-in many ways-old format will play out, especially as of Saturday AM, when the full-blown report will be available on four games. It will evolve over time, no doubt, and we ask for your patience as it does.

I personally have committed to putting together all the reports for the first couple of weeks of action, to establish what will eventually become a guide others can follow (not necessarily duplicate, but a basic outline).

We are very interested in recruiting others to take on an occasional report (perhaps you commit to one specific night per week to help us out). My direct messages via Twitter are open and you can reach out to me there to express interest. I would put you in touch with Brock and the new management team here at BrewerFanatic. The AAA Nashville Sounds host the Durham Bulls to kick off the 2022 season, welcoming three newcomers (LF Abraham Almonte, 1B Jon Singleton, DH Tyler White) to the starting lineup, #7 prospect LHP Ethan Small on the mound, #4 prospect Brice Turang at shortstop and #21 prospect Mario Feliciano behind the plate.

Westbrook hadn't played 2b for 5 years, when he played a total of 12 innings. He put up some decent #s in the minors. Does he have a chance?
