Brewers Tyler Black, the team's 33rd overall pick in 2021 and having a fine season, playing center field in this game, ranges far to his left and dives to make a fantastic catch but as he lands hard, he rolls into a heap, and is clearly in major pain. 

He held his left arm (glove arm) between the elbow and forearm for the entirety of his time on the ground and also as he got up and left the field after a few minutes, never releasing his grip on the ailing arm all the way into the dugout (good camera work in South Bend by the way, they stuck with Black all the way through their radio commercial break, as Black's catch ended the bottom of the 3rd inning).

Brewers and Timber Rattlers have yet to say except that Black is "dinged up" (to our knowledge, not sure if Voice of the Timber Rattlers Chris Mehring has been at liberty to discuss during his subsequent broadcasts this week), Black is primarily a second baseman, but like so many in the system, gets his defensive reps in elsewhere. This was Black's 15th game in center field, he also has six appearances at third base this season.

It doesn't look good. Like, at all. Most would suggest after viewing that Black broke his arm, but clearly, and let me emphasize, we don't know the diagnosis.

Via WSCO's "The Show with Leo and Balky (Hour One): "Leo Kiper Jr. is joined by Matt Carroll from Reviewing the Brew for the full hour. They are joined by Rob Zerjav (President, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers - 13:10 minute mark) to discuss the season as a whole for the T-Rats. They also talk some Brewers and are joined with Rattlers Manager Joe Ayrault - 33:30 minute mark"
