Was released today from the Braves. He's not going to win us the WS and he only got 36 PAs the last time her was here but he could be a decent fill in for 1B/2B/3B plus he's played corner OF. Not sure if he'd take a minor league deal at this point.

I saw that and thought the same thing. He’s versatile and would be a good filler while Urias is out.

I posted something similar in the “Hot Tub” thread, although this area is more appropriate.

Thought this was an April Fool’s joke at first.

 

They already had Holt once and released him because he sucked. He hasn’t gone out and proved them wrong, so I can’t believe there would be any interest in a reunion

I think Holt is much better than he showed in his brief stint here in 2020, but at the same time another utility guy (Even if it's a good one) isn't what this team needs atm. Peterson, Brosseau, Reyes, Mathias are all guys who can fill that role. Roster spots are limited, any utility guy they add needs to have options remaining, or offer something to the roster they don't already have. 

Also, soon enough we could have Gabe Holt available to fill the Holt \o/ quota.
