Given the Rays are set at SS for the foreseeable future, I'd imagine they value Paredes's profile over Turang's. So maybe something like Frelick/Mitchell and a Comp B pick to beat Detroit's offer.

Yuck no thanks on giving up Frelick/Mitchell and a Comp B pick for Meadows. 

I don’t think Meadows would move the needle all that much from what the Brewers already have.  If the Brewers were to trade Frelick/Mitchell I would prefer someone better than Meadows.

If those were the options, I'd prefer Davis. He's younger, more versatile defensively, and I like his upside and prospect pedigree a little more. I view Voit as more of a "flash in the pan" type.

Meadows is pretty damn good vs RHP... You really dont think a DH platoon of Meadows vs RHP/Cutch vs LHP would have moved the needle??

Not by all that much and definitely not enough to trade away Mitchell/Frelick and a Comp B.
