Rainouts?

Since I heard rain for this week what is the stance on rainouts? How bad does it have to be (lightning?) and when is it called?

They will not play in lighting. It is not a good idea to stand in an empty field holding a metal bat during a lightning storm.

 

For rain, it is simply how the field holds up. If most of the water has washed away, we can play. I've played in a light drizzle before. Also, the umps don't want to have makeup games, because those weeks take twice as long. So they will try to play as much as it is safe. Last year we played two hours after it hailed.
