Former Brewer John Curtiss actually signed a major league deal with the Mets despite being out for the year with a torn UCL from last season. The Mets will have to place him on their 40 man roster, move him to the 60 day DL, pay him a major league salary all year and he gets Major League Service time. Situation worked out pretty well for him considering he blew his elbow out after six appearances with the Brewers.
