That was it for Winker and Suarez??????? Wow, Reds got nothing in return.

Saurez hasn’t had a good season in 2 years, hit .198 last year is 30 and is owed 50 million dollars yet. The Reds are likely happy to move that 50 million.

Moustakas is probably next

Bryant and Boras are looking for a patsy club to drive his price tag up so the team or two he actually wants to play for will pony up more $$$.

I don’t think Bryant cares where he plays, he just wants the money. After a year or two in Colorado he can complain and ask to be traded like Arenado.

Three teams in complete rebuild mode. Imagine the wins we should be able to stack up against the Cubs, Pirates and Reds this year.

Would not be shocked if the Cubs make a couple of moves to try and make the playoffs.

Go get Castellanos. This team needs a legitimate middle of the order bat and preferably a right handed hitter with Castellanos being the best fit. Enough with the bottom of the barrel like a washed up McCutchen and get the real top hitter that this lineup needs to win a World Series.

The Cubs have a decent team they should be around 80 wins.  The Reds look to be just below average and should be around the 70-75 win mark.  The Pirates look to be a AAA team again so probably another 100+ loss season for them.

The Brewers have the best pitching in the NL Central but the offense looks to be questionable at best.  The Cardinals probably have the best offensive team in the division but their pitching looks problematic.  I wouldn't be surprised if the Cardinals win 90+ games and I wouldn't be surprised if they barely reach 85.

This is fake.

An athletic reporter with 85 followers on Twitter  and no tweets since last June?  I don't know what gave it away ?

The Rockies are an absolute mess right now. What is Bryant thinking?

Money, Money, and Money...  He'll put up big numbers there too.

Reds got pillaged on that deal. Dumpster fire of an organization gonna dumpster fire.

From a value perspective I agree they lost but not by a ton. Shedding all that payroll does have value beyond a potentially cheapskate owner putting money in his pocket. It also clears their 2 3b logjam. Also, they may feel like they are selling high on winker. They could be positioning to land a true SS and hopefully get lucky with pitching to have a good first half and add more pitching at the deadline.

I'm aware I'm grasping at straws a bit but it's possible this makes sense pending what they do going forward...

Man, I loved cutch, easily a fan favorite and just a fun guy to watch.  Pumped I'll get to root for him on my team!

I'd go the opposite.  What are the Rockies thinking?  They gave the franchise 3B Arenado the huge contract and it took them less than 2 years to realize they didn't want him at that price anymore.

Not to mention that since the beginning of the 2018 season, Byrant has really only been about a 3.2 annual WAR player.  That's really good, but it's not superstar territory.  IMO, he really should be in the area of a 4 year, 85 million dollar type deal...but he'll get a lot more based on his reputation.
