Brewers writers and blogs to check out?

Sorry if this can be found elsewhere; I did a search on the forum but didn't turn up anything relevant to recent history.

 

What Brewers writers are you following and where can they be found? Are there any independent writers out there (ie. non-Athletic or SBN) creating content worth checking out? I've found a bunch of former writers who stepped out of the game in the past few years but very few writers still pumping out content.

You're correct that outside of SB Nation and Fansided, there aren't independent bloggers doing their thing, as if it were earlier this century (2000-2010).

 

You might want to check out Wisconsin Sports Heroics, not sure what umbrella that falls under. But a lot of stuff there (and on the SB Nation and Fansided) is not fully original content or can only be considered as such on the periphery. Much is rehashed from that day's actual news, which is clearly lacking in the days of lockout regardless.

 

Young Jack Stern is excellent, every so often he diverts from BrewCrewBall to post on his own site. Not sure what Jack's current relationship is with BrewCrewBall's (SB Nation) new and yet-to-be-clearly-defined management team, but he's excellent.
