I think the Patriots Draft is extremely confusing. Mac Jones can't even throw a deep ball. Very odd draft.

Reminiscent of TT's later drafts?  Wonder if anyone's asked Belichek the 10 questions to test cognitive impairment

Patriots reaching a lot in this draft

So Watson automatically becomes our WR1?

If Watson is truly as good as he seems, I really kinda dont mind our top 3 right now… Watson, Watkins, Lazard isnt a terrible trio, other teams definitely have worse trios.

I doubt it. I expect he'll need some time to develop. Packers likely will look for a veteran in trade or FA to be #1.

He should contribute in kick/punt returns though, or be in the mix.

Other teams fans this season, "Wat just happened?"

Not complaining, clearly Packers wanted Watson, but approaching 53 and Pickens is still out there.

Pittsburgh takes him at 52. That would have been a kick in the groin. Pierce goes at 53.

I've always been concerned that Pierce just can't seem to get separation especially given the quality of talent they played against.

Indy was at 42. Wonder if they're the reason GB moved up?

No. He's not going to be the WR1. They'll sign a vet like Julio Jones to serve in that role, and when he inevitably goes down, Lazard will likely be the man. He's got some major breakout potential this season. Watson should be a solid complimentary guy this season, though, with some pretty splash plays.

Also Giants were at 36, they ended up moving down, but that might have been because we took watson.

Dean is a bewildering fall.

Nfl network has mentioned injury concerns for him.
