If I had to guess, I think Treyvon Burks is going to be the pick if the Packers stay at #22. He's a big (6'2, 225 lbs), strong receiver who fits the mold of what they typically look for. I personally wouldn't move up for any of the receivers arbitrarily ranked ahead of him. That said, it wouldn't surprise me to see them bypass WR completely tonight if they have a guy or two in mind in the 2nd, or a trade up their sleeve.

Who knows where they are looking at #28? Could be O-line, safety, edge, ILB, D-line? Maybe even another WR?

FWIW, Tony Pauline said the Packers love Burks. He's got them taking him at #22.

I'm seeing a bit of speculation that the Packers will move up if they can. The guy most people say they will target is Garret Wilson. #22 and one of our 2nd rounders would probably get us up to #10-13 - depending on which 2nd rounder.

It's probably the smart play if you believe the latest buzz.  Wilson and Olave are probably the most ready to help a team this year at the WR spot which GB needs.  Someone like Williams doesn't seem like a t  If you want one, probably have to go up.  Looking at teams that could take a WR before the Pack:  Atl at 8, Jets (SF if they trade Deebo) at 10, Was at 11, Minn at 12, Houston at 13, Philly at 15/18, NO at 16/19, LAC at 17.  They won't all take a WR, but to say the top 5 WR could be off the board before 22 is not hard to play out.

I would argue the consensus top 4 are some permutation of Wilson, Williams, London and Olave and I would have them all off the board by 17.  This is why I love following the draft because teams all have differing values on prospects and picks with so many ways to go.  Big question to answer is what is that difference between grades of the top 4 and 5-10.  GB could still end up with 3 picks in the first 2 rounds if they choose to go up.  Can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

I continue to have the strong preference to retain all of the 1sts and 2nds to get as many swings at impact players as possible, so I hope they don't pursue a major trade up. I personally don't feel that the difference between someone like Wilson and a WR likely to be there regardless like Pickens is significant enough to justify the chance to add another, say Travis Jones or Drake Jackson-like talent at 53. Obviously, as madbad noted, the Packers' rankings would have to answer that question rather than us though.

22 and their 3rd gets them to about 17, add in a 4th and you get to 15. I'd be ok with that type of move. But I really, really hope they've picked 4 guys before the end of round 2 tomorrow (unless they move one of the early picks to acquire someone, of course).

Regarding Williams, he wasn't in my 'tiers of WRs' above because A) I don't see him in play at 22, and B)he's the biggest wildcard of the draft, IMO. Honestly, a team committed to long-term drafting like the Packers could find immense value in trading up to get him if he makes it to the mid-teens and if they're committed to double-dipping at WR. Your 2nd WR at 28 or wherever starts from day 1, and Williams offers legit top-of-draft talent that gives you huge value because of the injury. He recovers and contributes at any point this year, and he's a HR pick, IMO. Pair him with a Watson/Pierce pick or if Burks/Pickens are at 28, and that's a pretty great draft for the WR room.

If Williams isn't hurt in his final game, he's probably the top WR in the draft. He'd just be a huge downfield weapon. I doubt very much he drops to us - but if he does - as you note - it would probably end up being a great value.

The mocks are all over the place - which is fine. Nothing against what all these people do. But it just shows how wild it's going to be.

yeah its weird to not even know for sure who will be pick #1 five hours out. so many unknowns, going to be an interesting night.

How crazy would Williams slipping to #22, then them picking David Ojabo at #28 be? Crazy good value there, but the "we need an immediate impact" contingent would freak out.

Williams is my top WR in this draft without question.  If I'm Atlanta or NYJ, I think it's a no brainer to take that shot.  Anything is possible in this draft, but Williams at #22 would be a major shock to me.  Taking both of these guys would absolutely freak a lot of people out with both down and out with injuries well into the next year.

Both those guys are absolutely legit Top 10 talents if healthy, though. Terrific value if available. I'd be totally fine with Ojabo at #28. He might be the best pass rush talent in the draft. I think someone will grab Williams before #22 though.

SO, does anyone have a Draft Stream they love or consider to be worthwhile? I refuse to watch ESPN so am hoping to find a YouTube live stream with all football related content. I think in past year's I did Mat Miller but he now works for ESPN. And so it goes.

NFL Network's coverage is so, so much better than ESPN's. I know that's probably not what you are looking for, though.

That's definitely in the options. I don't mind NFL Network. I'm just really hoping to find those rando obsessives who just talk football and the draft picks. And, that's OK if I don't find it.

CheeseheadTV is an option but they get derailed by their Patreon convo and the chat and everyone wanting to throw money to say something. So, it's not really my jam.

The Pro Football Focus Draft Show (available on YouTube) is ok. They do tend to dwell on their pre-draft grades too much, though, and can get annoying when they don't like where a guy goes.

Cool. Thanks for the info! I'll probably hop around so it's nice to have options.

I think I've posted this site before, but Grinding the Mocks takes a "wisdom of crowds" approach to forecasting the draft. They take every mock draft out there (I'm sure they vet them somehow so Cousin Bob's mock from Facebook is excluded) and find an expected draft position for each guy. I find it interesting...particularly the graphs which show how things change for players over time (e.g. post combine).

I'm hoping the Packers pick 3 times in Round 1 by the end of tonight - using a mix of 2nd/mid round draft picks and perhaps a player.

I'd be happy if they wound up picking 4 players in the first two rounds, but would be ecstatic getting 3 first rounders with that 5th yr option in their contracts.

Also wouldn't shock me if after tonight they picked twice in round one but no longer have some of their 2nd/3rd round picks or a backup quarterback - because they just dealt Love and draft capital for an impact veteran pass catcher.

The exciting part to me is how many different ways tonight could go that wind up with me being happy at decisions made - seems like a really good year to have a bunch of picks in the top 60!

I feel like anything getting leaked at this point is getting leaked with a purpose.
