The only thing I want to hear from LaFleur after the game is that the ST coach was fired. Everything else is just noise.

Amen...and not even take questions. Just say he is fired and walk away from the podium

The damage is already done now.

He had every reason to do it mid-season and stuck by his man. He is as much responsible for this as Drayton is.

Agreed, but own it and say you screwed up by letting that putrid unit ruin this team's chances.

You hate to think of how many additional rings Favre and Rodgers would be wearing if not for someone's total fart, be it coaching or GM or player.

Maybe, but 12 wears the crown tonight too. They scored 10 points.

I mean one dude fumbled a big play and another dropped a big pass on what was looking like a big drive.

He didn’t play unreal, but to say he was even close to a disappointment or bad is a real stretch. (Not that you personally are inferring that)

Never bet on Rogers in a playoff game

Odd thing is I feel more numb to this than usual and just want to go to bed. Maybe because in the back of my head I was always leery of something like this.

Finally one you can't pin on the defense and it made absolutely no difference.

I may be confusing you with someone else but I think that is what you and I said in the in offseason, trade Rodgers because we just aren't going to win another with him after that sour taste last year. I feel the same way, just been let down so many times I expected it.

Same here. I'm upset and disappointed but deep down this is just more of the same and I feel used to it.

Hey at least we had all those regular seasons of HoF QB play. Pity it rarely translated to the playoffs.

Agreed. They went 6 straight drives without scoring a point. Rodgers can’t do it alone, but surely the reigning MVP should be able to lead one TD drive in 6 attempts.

Yeah I’m in absolutely no mood to hear a defense of Rodgers after this one. I watched the game, too. I saw his oline fail on the right side repeatedly, and his wideouts struggle to get open. And the special teams cost us ten points. And, and, and…he’s an mvp. We needed 14 points against the worst secondary left in the playoff field, and it didn’t happen. He wears this one. Plain and simple.

All I got out of that is, “His team failed him, but I am still going to pin this loss on him, because I was going to regardless of how they lost.

I really want to know why they didn't start Nijman.

They can trade Rodgers for all the picks now and rebuild. I couldn't give a rats ass at this point. They always fail in the end anyway. They blew it, again, and this time it wasn't even the defense. Special teams and offense wasted one of the best Packer defensive performances I've ever seen in the playoffs. Unbelievable.

I think this is probably it for me. I'll still be a fan, but I'm done being overly invested in this team, I'll more than likely casually root for them like I do for college Wisconsin sports teams.

Rodgers struggled tonight, but so did the entire offense once the field got slick and Dillon got injured. Tough to say no other receivers were getting open because Rodgers was only looking at 17 and 33 - and the oline was on skates.

Rodgers wasn't accurate on some key throws, and they promptly went 3 and out with the ball at winning time. Same thing happened against TB 2 straight drives last January. You can't always place blame elsewhere when you're supposed to be THE MAN and you don't deliver when given a realistic chance to do so when it matters most.

I’ll be clearer then: the most talented quarterback to ever lace them up led two scoring drives and netted ten points. He did not even get a pass into the end zone in this game. There is no way to sugar coat that. He failed. He wasn’t the only one, but when you wear Superman’s cape, you gotta be better than ten points at home against a suspect team. End of story.
