Gutey better realize that he needs Rodgers more than Rodgers needs him. Love just isn't it.

They should let Rodgers play in GB as long as he wants to. But can we chill on this. He had 41 seconds to score a TD from 80 yards out. Everyone will attempt a crappy throws in that scenario because there isn't an alternative. A rusher came in unblocked and he was going to get sacked.

It’s like the ‘Love isn’t it’ posts were queued up and waiting for the first mistake…..

I waited until the second mistake.

Blaming him for Rodgers dropping a pass that tipped upward into the defender's arms is beyond unfair, IMO.

I mean we have gotten a pretty good look at him twice now, do you like what you have seen?

Yes actually. He had a number of really good throws today. One was a dropped slant. He had a nice deep ball that was dropped, outstretched arms, but should have been caught. He had a broken play on 3rd down under pressure where he gave the WR a chance at a catch in the end zone, who then couldn't make the grab. Let's remember he spent most of the game with St. Brown and Winfree.

His worst throw was missing St. Brown on the last drive. I thought he did fine.

Beyond happy with what I saw today. He led them on three scoring drives with literally the backup o-line, St. Brown as the best receiver on the field, and the 3rd string running back after Dillon left early in the third. I'm not letting a botched everything by Amari and an ill-advised pass with a defensive tackle coming in for a free hit ruin that. Shouldn't have thrown the ball, but that's something a young QB still has the opportunity to learn.

You want to see development, and I think we saw that as the KC game went on, and it further carried on into today's game where he was playing with the 2nd string against the Lions' starters. Works for me...

That play is not what I'm talking about.

Right, you're talking about the desperation heave from his own 40 with like 20 seconds left and no timeouts.

Just admit you want the guy to fail. It's beyond transparent.

The underthrow to St. Brown was worse than either of the picks by a wide margin. Could have been interesting if that's on target. I thought he did a nice job overall, unfortunately the silly bouncing INT and the prayer throw will make it look worse than he was.

Love isn't ready to take over yet but he has hardly shown that he'll be a bust. He had nothing but backups at his disposal in yhe second half and still almost led them from behind to beat Detroit.

Exactly. He may very well stink. The absolutism that "it's just not there" is just a bunch of nonsense. There's no way anyone could tell that right now and I'm 99% certain the same people were saying the same things about Aaron Rodgers.

As usual the Packers playoff chances rest on the defense at least not sucking.

Not very optimistic about getting to the super bowl right now.

I hope this was your feeling before the game and not as a result of what you saw today? IMO, the only real conclusions that can be drawn on today's game is that A)Bakh held up very well in his return, and B)Detroit played the game to win it while the Packers played it like there was a needless game on their schedule.

I just call it like I see it, and I haven't liked what I saw.

The second interception is not so much the interception, although that was bad. It was the decision to throw in the middle of the field with no time outs left. I can't remember who the intended receiver was, I think ESB, but it looked to me he wanted to let that ball drop incomplete to save time. If he catches that ball they might not even have time to run one more play. Certainly not two.

meh...would have been a nice win. I thought Lions would be able to score a bit.
