After all the hullabaloo from both sides, did anything really change? I see very minor modifications to service time and a minimum salary raise. I know there's the DH and expanded playoffs but it seems like status quo after months of fighting.

Other than the draft lottery not much really changed or the changes were minor but we do get to look forward to this again in 4-years when the CBT expires.

From The Athletic on the draft lottery https://theathletic.com/3187914/2022/03/16/mlbs-collective-bargaining-agreement-guide-to-the-changes-in-the-2022-26-labor-deal/?article_source=search&search_query=CBA:

No revenue sharing payee (a smaller-market team that receives revenue sharing money) can have a lottery pick three years in a row. No revenue sharing payor or market disqualified team (a larger-market team) can pick in the lottery two years in a row. The earliest those teams could pick would be 10th overall.

The draft is 20 rounds, to be held between June 1 and July 20, and it can’t start more than one day before whichever comes first, the All-Star Game or the Home Run Derby.

The signing deadline is 5 p.m. on Aug. 1, or two weeks after that year’s draft, whichever is earlier. (The signing deadline can’t be the same day as the trade deadline). Team bonus pools total $280,000,000 in 2022, and that number is to grow with industry revenue (and cannot decrease). The 2019 figure of $9.741 billion is the starting point, and once the sport exceeds that number, then growth calculations commence. Players taken after Round 10 (and players eligible to be selected who were not) can receive up to $150,000 without the money counting toward the bonus pool. It was previously $125,000.

Draft and follow works as such: Anyone selected after the 10th round who does not sign by the deadline, and who also attends junior college for the following spring and fall semesters, and can sign between the end of the player’s junior college season and the start of the closed period. Bonuses for those players may not exceed $225,000 and will not count against the team’s pool.

There will be a voluntary scouting and medical combine in June or July.

So draft and follow is now back again?  I believe the last draft and follow player the Brewers drafted was Manny Parra?
