So tired of him and the holder talking about the miss. You missed it Crosby. It’s on you. Just like it is a majority of the time.

But it wasn’t when the issues started. His timing got completely out of whack as a result. I’m sure he’s confining with the holder that all went well on that end in that situation.

Yeah. I get it. Just so over it.

Yeah, no doubt. Encouraging today before that, so maybe we can hope…

Wow. Rams clock management is ......interesting here.

Stunningly bad. I thought one of the benefits of the younger coaches was supposed to be Madden-like clock management and risk-taking. The clock management stuff doesn’t seem to be better….

I am really having a hard time understanding what their plan was. IF they got the first down, they were (presumably) going to take a shot at the endzone (with the clock running) ......using more time, and then if they score, do an onside kick, how much time is going to be left there? It just seems like it wasn't thought out well at all. Like the sequence of events after the first down wasn't thought out, *at all*.

They got a lot of those seconds I was so upset about back when the Rams ran when they should have passed.

Oddly enough as excited about the stop as I was, it might have been even better if Clark let himself get dragged just far enough to give up the first down. In theory the offense could have probably run 1 more play faster than getting the FG team out there, but as long as they don't give up a TD on that play they get the Rams running even more clock.

A lot of chatter tonight on Twitter about how the Rams basically went out and did everything a fanbase WANTS a team to do to build their team- trading for Miller and Stafford, signing OBJ, etc., while the Packers have basically acquired guys like Campbell and Douglas for nothing, and have watched them excel when thrust into major roles. In the process, the Rams have built a flawed team, shortened their window by decimating their ability to plug holes because they've traded away their next drafts, and may be fighting to make the playoffs as a wildcard. And the Packers are 4-0 vs. the NFC West.

Gute and the FO are hated by a portion of the fan base, and all they continue to do is prove how good they are at their jobs. The way this team has been able to plug guys in to cover for devastating positional injuries has been absolutely amazing.

LA teams sure like their all-star rosters, even if those all-stars are a few years past their primes.

Being aggressive seems to be working out pretty well for Arizona.

Since the Rams have "gone all in" neither has won a super bowl but the Rams have made it there. Seems the results are about equal.

It’s funny, had we traded for Gilmore and he had played as well as Douglas we would probably be talking about an extension. We still have to see how the season plays out, Rams could still win the SB, but Packers have been outstanding with their depth with all the injuries. I always have that house of cards feeling during injury riddled seasons like this though. Wish we actually knew if Bak,Jaire, or Z will be back.

Didn't work so well on October 28th.

The point is, running a franchise like fantasy football works if you do it smartly. And the Rams (and to an extent, the Bears) didn't obtain the results to match the capital they gave up. While the Packers have filled holes with miscellaneous players that are playing all-pro level.

I was referring to this year's roster construction, so I'm not sure the super bowl they made 3 1/2 seasons ago is a proper barometer of success.

At least the Packers have draft picks to continue to fill holes going forward. The Rams literally have a 3rd, 5th, and two 7th rounders next year. And, like the Packers, no cap space.
