Badgers vs Nebraska

Curious, anyone know what tickets were going for on StubHub this morning? I forgot to check. I've been getting e-mails (from UW AD) to buy tickets. Hunting and all going on. Last week's game had 20K unscanned tickets.

 

I thought during the game that there was a lot of empty seats.

Huskers have a terrible record but have been in every one of their games....and their schedule has been brutal.

 

Talent on that team, but not enough consistency....that's coaching and probably the reason they fired most of Frosts staff before the season even ended. Giving him 1 more season to put something together before he gets canned, too.

Anyone know how many seniors are on that squad or are they going to be largely the same squad next year?

I would not be surprised to see Nebraska take down Iowa next week.

Nebraska sure was frustrating to play. Martinez did a great job of avoiding sacks and turning nothing into something. Also had some horrible throws….

 

The last play? Looked like a make up call to me and I am thankful for it!

I would go as far as predicting it. Assuming Nebraska isn’t demoralized by always losing close ones.

 

As for the B10 title game…if they couldn’t beat OSU in 2019 with a closer talent gap and that big halftime lead, I don’t know how they could possibly do it this year.

I had to go through the tiebreaker rules as we could have a potentially3 or 4 way tie if Iowa loses but it most likely means the winner of the Badger-Goofs game goes to title game. Iowa plays on Friday, I will be pulling for them as I want Gophers demoralized.

There is absolutely no doubt that last pass was a defensive PI. The Badgers got the biggest gift,in the Big 10 this year. They should be playing in OT.

 

Makes up for the garbage PI call four plays before that. The ball landed 5 yards out of bounds.

And the missed holding call on Benton on that last play.

 

And the missed facemask penalty on the drive where UW missed the field goal.

 

And the missed false start on the TE on Nebraska's first TD.

Nebraska has a good offense. And our defense isn't playing great. Both are true.

And Nebraska had two weeks to prepare for this game.

Nebraska is 1-7 in big10 play, and has a positive point differential. that's crazy.
