Number #1 Seed position yet again. Even with our horrendous ST's...we are simply a better team than the Cardinals.

TB has vsNO @CAR @NYJ vsCAR to close the season, so probably gonna need to win out to keep it.

538 has it at GB (45%) TB (39%) AZ (10%) for the first round bye after the Cardinals lost tonight, for whatever that is or isn't worth.

I could see the Cards and TB losing one of their last 4 so even if the Packers lose one of the AFC games still a good shot.

What tie breaker do we currently hold over tb? Is that likely to hold?

The Packers have a better record against NFC opponents because one of their losses was to the Chiefs. None of the Bucs’ 3 losses have been to an AFC opponent, so the current playoff position would hold if both teams win out.

I would think the best bet we have for a TB loss is this Sunday. I believe they are now 0-3 vs New Orleans dating back to last season? Let's hope we get the Taysom Hill and Kamara Run/Pass Option clinic to notch another W on NO's belt.

Good grief that's a shamefully easy schedule for TB. LOL. NO has their number lately. Let us hope that is the ticket to the #1 seed. We have 2 extremely understated tough games @ BAL and home vs the Vikes. Here's hoping.

Depends which Vikings team shows up. That team is maddeningly inconsistent. As a Packer fan, I hope it's the team that lost to the lowly Lions that shows up in Lambeau in a few weeks. It is quite possible that the Vikings will no longer have anything to play for, and will simply be playing out the string by then.

That would be a fantastic turn of events in our favor. They are maddeningly inconsistent. No doubt. They did just get Cook and Michael Pierce back. Their team still has quite a bit of talent at important positions. I like our odds at Home, obviously.

Any given Sunday...,but I don't fear the Vikings on cold Lambeau grass as much as inside a dome. They are build for speed and I think they will be much easier to handle on grass in the cold. Would be great to have Jaire back to cover Jefferson too.

The Packers catch a small break with the COVID re-shuffling. The Browns were scheduled to play Saturday, which would have given them one extra day of rest on the Packers for their Christmas Day matchup. Now the Browns will play on Monday and have to face the Packers the following Saturday. Green Bay winds up with the extra day’s rest.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least for that Browns-Packers game to get bumped back 1-2 days just to give the Browns an extra day and closer to a normal week - frankly it would also give postgame COVID testing after Monday's Browns/Raiders game a chance to actually find any new cases prior them traveling to Green Bay for a saturday game, too.

The league would end up moving a different game to that Christmas afternoon slot, because TV $$$.

I doubt it. Fox has been promoting the heck out of that game. The Packers in Lambeau on a late Christmas afternoon is a huge recipe for success ratings wise for the NFL.

With the change in the NFL's COVID testing policy that now stops a need for testing asymptomatic vaccinated players and coaches, yes the Christmas Packers-Browns game probably doesn't get moved. IMO it probably should be since they're forcing a still shorthanded Browns team to play tonight and then play after just 4 days rest this late in the year, but I can't say I'm disappointed in that development as a Packer fan, either.

It's the same turnaround as any team that has a Thursday game on their schedule after playing Sunday. I mean, yeah, the players hate the Thursday games, but they are mainstream now.

True, but they've already played one Thursday game, which was the nfl's justification for adding that night to the schedule....I guess at least they had their bye week late on their schedule(week 13), and they'll get a slight breather after the Christmas game because their next week is a Monday night game. Still sucks - by pushing them to just Monday they are still going to be without ~22 players, including their top 2 qbs. So this move really didn't help Cleveland at all in terms of getting guys back.

Feel pretty good with my Packers +1300 to win the Super Bowl bet.

I would be really upset to see the Packer-Browns game moved because I'm going! It is my son's 16th B-day present (Dec 9th birthday). We could still go on Monday as we are both on vacation break, but still... This will be my 3rd game, but only my first regular season game (one pre-season, one playoff). My son's first game.
