Wisconsin Basketball Thread 2021-2022

Certainly been an interesting (and fast!) first half.   If either team could hit some shots, they’d have a nice lead.

I like that the refs are letting them play; which means the second half will go completely the opposite ?

Davis with about the worst 20 point game ive ever seen. This Colgate team is underseeded IMO, but a pretty bad effort all around from the white and red tonight. At least they didn’t get blown out by 35 like the other team from Wisconsin ?

A couple more of those and it'll be even.

Cummings has gotten away with at least 2 forearm shivs at least that I've seen.  They are definitely letting them play.

There was a game this season where Davis had 20 points on, IIRC, 27 shots.  So this by comparison wasn't quite as bad....

Absolutely fantastic game, regardless of the outcome.

I completely agree.  It felt like a heavyweight title fight for a while.

Gotta give Colgate some credit.  They are a very good club!

For a while, I thought maybe the Badgers were emulating the Packers in not being able to win a big post-season game on a (basically) home court.

Iowa State won't be a cakewalk, either.  They are going to be battered and bruised after Sunday's game, win or lose.

Iowa St has an excellent defense but it's largely predicated on generating turnovers and UW is elite at not turning the ball over.
