I can run just fine, if I need to. I can't put any torque on my knee. Different kind of stress.

But it was a patella fracture. The patella affects the ability to bend and straighten the knee it has nothing to do with rotation. If he can run alright, it means his knee is good to go.

I still am having a hard time processing that miscue between Woody and Rowdy. How does that even happen?

General consensus is always "If an infielder can make the play, it's always their play", and they should call off the pitcher. Once Rowdy called off Woody, he HAS to make that catch. HAS to.

If Woodruff gets out of this like he deserves to, we really have to score in the 8th. Please no tied bottom of the 9th.

I really would be tempted to turn the game off. At least while pitching. I can’t watch a walk off to end the season.

Weird that Woodruff can pitch but Burnes can't?? I believe it but man.

Who do you want starting Game 5?

Got to get there.

You HAVE to manage like there's going to be a game 5. You have to win both games. Not just game 4. If you use Burnes and Woodruff, there's zero chance to win Thursday.

I think at this point it's a one or the other....with the idea that having Burnes in game 5 is your best bet for your starter to go 7-8 innings.

Burnes could probably come in and go a couple, but the decision to lift Peralta 2 innings too soon yesterday basically has the key pen arms mostly gassed and they would really be chasing to get through a game Thursday if he isn't available. With him on full rest for Thursday, it's his game as far as he can go.

....glad to see Contreras is nice and slow, too!
